Live Club Chat
This page includes the required live chat feature so visitors can talk about entries, categories, and monthly themes.
The live chat page gives members a place to talk in real time about current themes, deadlines, and the images shown elsewhere in the club. A chat area makes the site feel more like an actual online club rather than a set of isolated pages. People can ask whether an image idea fits a category, compare editing choices, or suggest future themes for the next round. Because the assignment requires a functional live or group chat, this page embeds a web-based chat room directly into the site so visitors do not have to leave the project just to participate in the discussion.
A separate page also keeps the chat from overwhelming the other parts of the website. Someone who only wants to read the rules or vote on a favorite image can do that quickly, while someone who wants more interaction can open the chat page and stay longer. The embedded chat below uses Minnit Chat in an iframe format. That means the club page still contains the chat interface while the service itself is hosted externally. It is a simple solution for a class project because it gives the site a real-time feature without needing custom server-side programming.
